Yesterday, I tried to launch the North Metro Burger Wars with just 8 contenders. You guys absolutely destroyed me in the comments. You told me it was “criminal” to leave off Shortstop. You told me Wagner’s is closed for the winter (good catch!). You told me I missed the “G-Spot” burger at McDuff’s.
The internet remains undefeated.
But that’s the point of the North Metro Realist—I listen to the locals. I scrubbed the list, removed the national chains, and expanded the tournament to a massive 32-Team Bracket.
This is no longer just a blog post. This is a full-blown tournament to find the actual best burger in Anoka, Coon Rapids, Blaine, and beyond.
